RDF new premises!
We have moved to larger premises, our new address is; 7 Wortley Moor Road Leeds LS12 4JF. Telephone numbers and Fax numbers remain the same.

This has provided us with a bigger workshop and enable us to manufacture more of our bespoke furniture, staircases and windows (including sliding sash)

Royal Armouries chooses RDF!
Britain’s oldest museum has decided it’s time to turn back the clock and undergo a makeover at its main site in Leeds. This month work will begin inside the Museum to strip back its familiar pink painted walls in favour of something far more striking.

The exciting new look, including gold leaf decoration, will give all five floors of the Museum’s main entrance hall a fresh contemporary appearance and will add a touch of grandeur.

The Museum will remain open during the work – all five galleries and special exhibitions plus the library, shop and bistro will be accessible to visitors, including wheelchair users. Visitors will also still be able to see live action performances as well as our famous international jousting tournament over Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

The Museum’s main entrance will be closed but visitors will be directed to the West entrance facing the Clarence Dock basin.

Construction work will be carried out after hours in order to ensure that our visitors’ experience of the Museum is not disrupted. To facilitate the operation the Museum will close at 3pm each day. The facelift is expected to be completed at the end of April 2008.
